How to Order

Choose your portrait medium and select a size, and send us photos of your pet. Keep in mind a good quality photo for a pet portrait is the key.

Good contrasting light and shadow, this can create a sense of depth and dimension in painting.

Photo Guidelines

When taking photos, the best light is usually outdoors in natural light, especially around 8 am and 5 pm on sunny days. This time, called the golden hours, lasts for about an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. During these hours, the sunlight is softer, resulting in gentler shadows and better overall brightness. This light can bring out the true colours and details in the subject, like people, pets, or objects, making your photos much better.

  • the details of the animals’s face are clear

  • photo is in focus

  • avoid blurry image, photo that is too dark or taken from a distance

  • we want unedited original photo without any filtering

  • send us the highest resolution photos possible, do not use photos from Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp or other social media. Photos from social media platforms are low resolution images.

  • please send photos via email directly from your photo gallery in your mobile phone, images sent via social media platforms will certainly be downgraded to a low resolution format.

  • don’t use your camera’s flash, as it can discolour your pet’s eye

Subject is too far away, lack of details due to poor lighting conditions, resulting in a painting that lacked depth and visual impact.
